Explanation of Detention: In an attempt to help James Sirius Potter out of trouble of his own making, she got caught in her lie and sentenced to detention with the boy in question.

Explanation of Detention: James attacked a Slytherin who was making fun of Gwen. Angry, he jumped on the boy and started swinging. Well into the fight, the subject of the fight walked by and broke it up. A Professor came running in to stop it and Gwenna attempted to get them out of trouble but managed to land herself in it as well.

Explanation of Detention: Lysander, having always been the twin to be caught at these sorts of things, was naturally the one to get detention when he (and Lorcan, who managed to hide in time) was found trying to release the caged Nifflers for the third year's CoMC class the following day. It wasn't his fault that the Professor had a gold tooth...

Explanation of Detention: One thing that Fiona knows is that it isn't really about not doing the prank or not sneaking out: its not getting caught that's important. Especially not by the Headmaster! It tends to cause things like detention when you're out doing something you really know you shouldn't (like going out to cause a chain reaction in the Potions lab for the morning because you didn't feel like studying).
